Our Physiotherapists
Our Physiotherapists are Chartered by the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. As such, our services are reimbursable by private health insurance carriers.
Since 2004, we have provided services to the greater Dublin area. The KW department is lead by Niamh Dillon. The team consists of four Physiotherapists and two Physiotherapy Assistants, who qualified as Physiotherapists abroad and are awaiting registration in Ireland.
We are well established in providing excellent care for a variety of conditions in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Our team
Niamh Dillon MSc Physiotherapy (Hons) BSc Sport Science and Health (Hons)
Niamh is the manager of Kiltipper Woods Physiotherapy department. Niamh has gained valuable rehabilitation experience since graduating from Kings College London in 2010. She has worked in a number of HSE and NHS academic teaching hospitals and has also worked in private practice. She completed a post graduate qualification in Musculoskeletal injection therapy in RCSI in 2023, is a qualified Pilates instructor and completed a number of courses in a range of clinical areas. She worked as a Clinical Specialist for a number of years with a particular focus on Spinal, Rheumatology and Orthopaedic patients. Her main area of interest is rehabilitation to optimise quality of life for both orthopaedic and neurological patients.
Anitha Alex BSc Physiotherapy (Hons)
Anitha graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2015. She has worked in Gleneagles BGS Global Hospital Bengaluru, India. Where she gained valuable experience in neurological rehabilitation, treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, cardiorespiratory care, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Anitha enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Anitha has a keen interest in paediatric and orthopaedic rehabilitations. She is also certified in Dry needling.
Marcus Esmonde BSc Physiotherapy (Hons)
Marcus obtained an honours degree from University College Dublin. During his training he gained valuable experience in hydrotherapy, neurological rehabilitation along with orthopaedic rehabilitation and in the cardiorespiratory area. Marcus has a keen interest in massage therapy, sports injury rehabilitation and orthopaedic rehabilitation along with health promotion. Marcus is also certified in dry needling and has been involved in the running of ‘fit for the future’ which is our exercise class of people aged 65+.
Daragh Casey BSc Physiotherapy (Hons)
Daragh obtained an honours degree from Trinity College Dublin. During his training he gained valuable experience in neurological rehabilitation, orthopaedics and in the cardiorespiratory area. Daragh has a keen interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation. Daragh is also certified in dry needling and has a background in strength and conditioning coaching.
Alex is our Physiotherapy Assistant. He trained as a physiotherapist in Semmelweis University in Budapest and has BSc in Science. Through his training he has gained valuable experience in the areas of neurology, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and care of the elderly. He has a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation.
Eadaoin Flaherty
Eadaoin is currently a Physiotherapy Assistant. She studied Physiotherapy in Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. She is currently awaiting her CORU recognition and registration so she can join our team of physiotherapists. She is interested in paediatrics and neurological rehabilitation. Eadaoin is a certified APPI Pilates instructor in Kiltipper and is currently teaching.

Kiltipper Woods Physiotherapy Clinic specialises in musculoskeletal, neurological, sports and older adult physiotherapy.
Hydrotherapy
We use a Swimex 1000-T hydrotherapy pool that contains resistance jets and current which your therapist uses to optimise the intensity of your workout.
Pilates
Pilates at Kiltipper Woods is a gentle form of exercise that works on strengthening your body. The aim is to improve strength, flexibility, posture and balance.
