Our Physiotherapists are Chartered by the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. As such, our services are reimbursable by private health insurance carriers. Find out more information about Chartered Physiotherapists
Since 2004, we have provided services to the greater Dublin area. The KW department is lead by Nicola Clegg. With four physiotherapists on staff, we are well established in providing excellen care for a variety of conditions on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Nicola Clegg, BSc Physiotherapy (Hons), MSc in Gerontology and Neurology (Hons), MISCP
Nicola is the Manager in Kiltipper Woods. Nicola graduated with an honours degree from the University of Manchester and also received a Masters in Gerontology and Neurology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2012.
Nicola gained valuable experience working in the UK in many different areas including neurological rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal outpatients. She has completed many accredited post-graduate neurological courses and works with varied and complex neurological disorders. She has also successfully completed a certificate in Dry Needling and is a qualified Manual Handling Instructor. Nicola was physiotherapist for numerous club and inter-county teams in Dublin and rugby teams in UK, and enjoys leading a dynamic team.
Sarah O'Connor BSc Physiotherapy (Hons), MISCP
Sarah graduated in 2016 with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. During her training Sarah gained valuable experience in the areas of orthopaedics, outpatients, primary care, respiratory, neurology, and care of the elderly rehabilitation. Sarah has a qualification in Pilates. She can also teach Ante and post-natal Pilates at Kiltipper Woods. Sarah has a keen interest in geriatric and neurological rehabilitation and enjoys working as part of a dynamic and diverse team.
Jenny Drennan, BSc Physiotherapy (Hons)
Jenny obtained her honours degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin. Since graduating, she has worked in both the public and private sectors within Ireland and New Zealand.
Her work has included treating musculoskeletal problems, spinal pain, neurological conditions, care of the elderly, rehabilitation post surgery and the provision of Pilates classes. Alongside this Jenny also has an interest in sports physio and travelled to the Rugby League World Cup 2013 as physiotherapist to the Irish Rugby League Student Team.
Jenny has been a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor since 2011 and furthered her Pilates training over in New Zealand with Stability Plus Pilates which incorporated anti-natal, post-natal and post-operative rehabilitation. She has a keen interest in pilates-based rehabilitation providing patients with individually tailored programmes.
Jenny enjoys learning and has furthered her skills, completing courses in the areas of movement dysfunction, segmental acupuncture & dry needling. She has also completed the prestigious Certificate in Spinal Manual Therapy. This has led to Jenny developing a particular interest in the management of sports injuries, chronic conditions, arthritis and spinal pain.
Emma Kennedy Sports Therapy & Physiotherapy Studies – Physiotherapy Assistant
Emma graduated with distinction from Cavan Institute in 2015. She has since worked for Camogie and Football GAA teams at club, inter-county and international level with the Aussie rules team.
Emma has a keen in interest in rehabilitation and care of the elderly. Emma has plans to undertake a degree in Physiotherapy in the next few years.
